From buying my first small multifamily property to now walking 200+ unit apartment communities, I’m constantly reminded that growth happens one step, one property, and one courageous decision at a time.

We’re evaluating this 220- unit property in Texas as a potential acquisition for DeenVest Capital.

And yes… sometimes due diligence looks like reviewing financials, walking hundreds of units, and doing it all with a baby in tow. 😂❤️

Managing 100+ units means there is never really a break. Every single day, something needs to be repaired, replaced, or handled.

People see the properties and rental income, but they don’t always see this side of being a landlord. Some days, it feels like fixing things is all you do 😂

Backstory this Tenant Josh, is always never reports anything until its too late, when my property manager sent me the video i just said “ Josh”?? and he said you already know! 🤣 .. And there he was watching his TV like Ehh 😆.. In his defense he did use a paper towel 💅🏿

People often see the podcasts, the deals, and the apartment buildings.

They don’t always see the baby on your lap, the interrupted interviews, or the moments when you’re building a business while being a parent.

This little one decided she wasn’t missing the podcast… so she became my special guest.

The truth is, there will never be a perfect time to pursue your goals. Life will always happen. Meetings will overlap with nap time. Podcasts will include unexpected guests. Plans will change.

The key is to keep showing up anyway.
