There was a time when I studied by a candle I made myself because we had no electricity.

A time when I wrote code on paper because I didn’t have a computer.

And now, I’m standing on a stage at Harvard sharing my journey and the vision behind DeenVest Capital.

Allah writes stories we could never write for ourselves.

A little orphaned girl from a small village in The Gambia could never have imagined that one day, her name would be on a Harvard speaker screen.

Now I’m preparing to speak about Islamic finance, real estate, and building wealth.

There were so many chapters I didn’t understand while I was living them. Looking back, I can see the redirection in every one.

Allah writes the most beautiful stories. 🤍
