Happy Thursday families! Here, we have a picture of a typical preschooler’s hand on the left and a typical 7 year old’s hand on the right. What caused the changes between these two pictures? Constant fine motor play! It’s extremely important for children to have opportunities for fine motor play on a daily basis for proper hand development. Building these muscles is the first step towards your child being able to write on their own! Offer your children items such as play-doh, puzzles, stickers, school scissors, beading, chalk or crayons to keep their brains working and their bodies growing 👶🏼
