Governor's Honors Program

Thank you to the Stewart County School District for inviting GHP to participate in their College and Career Fair during Homecoming Week!

It was a great event that gave us the opportunity to connect directly with Georgia’s next generation of leaders. We spoke with eight students who are interested in being nominated for GHP this November!

We’re excited to see where their GHP journey takes them. 👍

It was a packed room at the Atlanta workshop! Thank you to all of our coordinators who attended in person and to the over 20 coordinators that attended via zoom. We received great feedback on the timing of information provided, and we appreciate the requested resources that coordinators needed to support nominations. Thank you to our friends at the State Charter Schools Commission of Georgia for hosting!

Thank you to our great host at pioneer resa. Today's workshop gave us a chance to speak directly to new and returning coordinators to help them better understand how they can find students, nominate students, and get them applying! We look forward to our next stop in Atlanta!

Thank you to all of our GHP coordinators who joined us in Tifton for our Coordinator Workshop!
We received great insights into the increasing number of opportunities available to students during the summer and valuable feedback on how the resources GHP is providing can help coordinators identify and support students throughout the selection process.
We look forward to our next stop at Pioneer RESA on Wednesday!
