Menlo College

Menlo College is a private, accredited, non-profit college, offering Bachelor's and Master's degrees. !

Menlo College's size, and its location in one of the world's most entrepreneurial and innovative geographical areas, is enabling the College to create a valuable market niche for itself locally—as well as globally—as Silicon Valley's Business School. And, as the Silicon Valley continues its historic role as a global pioneer in business and industry, Menlo College will develop graduates who are entrepreneurial, innovative, critical thinkers, strategic communicators and team players—men and women who can envision, flourish and lead in a constantly changing global environment.

Huh? —> Oreos.

This week’s Mic’d Up Monday has no questions, just repeating what the last person said.

What better way to get job tips than straight from the recruiters themselves?

Drue and special guest host, Bat from the Internships and Career Services team, took the mic at Meet the Firms and Meet the Recruiters to ask employers what they look for in student professionals. 🚀

What a day at FHC 4.0! Menlo College hosted our 4th Finance Hybrid Conference this week, bringing together academics, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and students to explore one big question: How are fintech and AI changing the future of finance and real estate?

The conference featured keynote speakers Bill Reichert of Pegasus Tech Ventures, Kirsten Rhodes of Deloitte, and Christina Bui of Robert Half, as well as panels of industry leaders, including John McNellis, Menlo alumnus Chop Keenan ’66, and many more. Attendees also took part in fireside chats spanning academia, venture capital, and materials science.

A special thank you to Prof. Dr. Faten Ben Bouheni, whose leadership made this conference possible and gave our students direct access to the people shaping these industries.

One of the advantages of being located near Silicon Valley? Menlo can bring these conversations and connections directly to our students, giving them opportunities to learn from the people building what’s next.

Yesterday, the Student Union turned into a hub of career connections for Meet the Firms + Meet the Recruiters.

Business students met with professionals from firms like Northwestern Mutual, Equitable Advisors, and the California Franchise Tax Board, while psychology students connected with organizations like City Year, COOP Careers, and the Marine Corps Officer Selection Station San Jose.

These conversations are where career readiness actually starts, not just in the classroom, but in the relationships our Oaks build along the way.
