Hi Everyone - It is almost August and the MPCSD Safe Routes program is bringing lots of new information online for parents to help plan bike and walk options for school commutes. Statistics released Monday from the American Public Transportation Association show that 2012 ranks as the second highest transit ridership year since 1957.

More people are riding their bikes into Manhattan, and even the freezing temperatures do not dissuade a few brave souls.
