The Menlo Park City School District is using grant money from the San Mateo County Safe Routes to Schools program to help more families bike, walk, carpool and take the bus to school.

Hi Everyone - It is almost August and the MPCSD Safe Routes program is bringing lots of new information online for parents to help plan bike and walk options for school commutes. Report Finds Americans Are Driving Less, Led by Youth In the middle of the last decade, the number of miles driven — both over all and per capita — began to drop, notes a report to be published on Tuesday by a nonprofit advocacy organization.
