This is such an Epidemic in our country, it’s time for a change. As a RN for 33yrs now & a part time caregiver (along w/ other family members) for my MIL, (we lost her Nov. 2025) the fight to be able to keep our parents in their home in their final years is sometimes so unbearable & overwhelming…physically, mentally & especially financially…😭😭😭

🤔Here’s a thought, what if WE caregivers that are lucky enough to have a retirement savings/investment plan (ie IRA, 401k, etc.) were “allowed” to access/borrow from it for the purpose of caregiving w/o paying a penalty &/or taxes…I feel this ability could help relieve some of the financial burden felt by many of us🤔

We need Options that are Real Solutions!!!
