We had a blast celebrating Ohio University Homecoming and showing off our OUCAMS pride! From representing our meteorology community to joining in on the Bobcat spirit, it was a great way to be part of the festivities and celebrate everything that makes OU feel like home. 🐾

A big thank you to everyone who came out to represent OUCAMS! We love getting involved in our campus community and making memories along the way. 💚

OUCAMS is proud to partner with Ohio University UPSA for a food drive supporting the Southeast Ohio Food Bank! 💚

📍 Donation boxes are located on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of Clippinger Labs.

We’re collecting non-perishable food items to help support individuals and families in our community. Every donation makes a difference, so next time you’re in Clippinger, consider bringing something to give!

Let’s come together to make a positive impact in Southeast Ohio! 💙

We had an absolute blast last night at Dr. Fogt’s annual Meteorology Club’s cookout! 🌭☁️
A night filled with meeting new faces, stuffing our faces with burgers 🍔 and a very competitive game of sock dodgeball! 🧦
Don’t forget our first official meeting is Thursday 4pm at Tupper 005! See you there!

☀️🌡️ Happy First Day of Meteorological Summer! 🌩️🌪️

As temperatures rise, remember that hydration is KEY 💧 Stay cool, take breaks in the shade, and know the signs of heat illness like dizziness, nausea, and exhaustion 🥵

Summer also brings an increase in thunderstorms and tornadoes ⛈️ Be weather aware and know the difference:
⚠️ Watch = conditions are possible
🚨 Warning = happening now or imminent. Take action!

Stay safe, stay prepared, and enjoy the start of summer!
