Affordable Learning Georgia is seeking peer reviewers for grant rounds 30 and 31. Applications are open until July 31, 2026.

Reviewers will commit to 40 hours over the year and will receive a $500 honorarium per cycle. Notifications will be sent by August 21, with mandatory training on August 26.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to educational initiatives.

EBSCO has rescheduled the first of its two training on recent updates and navigation changes.

If you were already registered for the previous session (which was canceled), you should have been automatically re-registered for the new date. The original registration link remains valid and can still be used to join the session.

On July 7, EBSCO made a number of updates for EBSCO interfaces, including EBSCOhost, the EBSCO Discovery Service, and Explora. We have teamed up with EBSCO to host webinars that inform you about the changes. The next session is August 19.

We're happy to share that Digital Library of Georgia (a GALILEO initiative at UGA Libraries) will be present at Cornelia's Hillfest on July 11.

Kathryn Manis, lead for Digital Library of Georgia, will be providing remarks about their partnership with the Regional African American Legacy Collection (formerly Museum of Northeast Georgia.)
