আগামীকাল আমাদের BASA Summer Farewell & BBQ 2026! এই আয়োজনটা শুধু BBQ বা একসঙ্গে খাওয়া দাওয়ার জন্য না, আমাদের অনেকের জন্য এটা হয়তো Athens-এ একসঙ্গে কাটানো শেষ কয়েকটা সুন্দর মুহূর্তের একটি। খুব শিগগিরই আমাদের কয়েকজন Athens ছেড়ে নতুন শহর, নতুন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বা জীবনের নতুন অধ্যায়ে চলে যাবেন। সত্যি বলতে, এরপর কারও সঙ্গে হয়তো অনেক দিন দেখা হবে না, আবার কারও সঙ্গে হয়তো আর কখনো আগের মতো একসঙ্গে বসে আড্ডা দেওয়ার সুযোগও নাও আসতে পারে। তাই বিদায়ের আগে আমরা চাই সবাই মিলে কিছু ভালো সময় কাটাতে, মন খুলে গল্প করতে, হাসতে এবং সুন্দর কিছু স্মৃতি তৈরি করতে।

ব্যস্ততা সবারই আছে, তারপরও চেষ্টা করবেন একটু সময় বের করে চলে আসতে। আপনাদের উপস্থিতিই এই আয়োজনের সবচেয়ে বড় আনন্দ। কারও রাইড লাগলে অবশ্যই গ্রুপে জানিয়ে দিন, সংকোচ করার কিছু নেই। আর যাঁরা রাইড দিতে পারবেন, তাঁরা একটু এগিয়ে এলে কেউ যেন শুধু যাতায়াতের সমস্যার কারণে বাদ না পড়ে। আয়োজন, খাবার প্রস্তুতি, পরিবেশন, জিনিসপত্র সেট করা এবং শেষে সব গুছিয়ে পরিষ্কার করার কাজেও সবার একটু একটু সহযোগিতা দরকার হবে। কয়েকজনের ওপর সব দায়িত্ব না রেখে আমরা সবাই মিলে কাজ করলে আয়োজনটা আরও সুন্দর এবং আনন্দের হবে।

শেষ পর্যন্ত BASA তো শুধু একটি সংগঠন না, এটা আমাদের Athens-এর ছোট্ট একটা পরিবার। এই পরিবারের কেউ যখন চলে যায়, তখন তার সঙ্গে কাটানো সময়গুলোই পরে সবচেয়ে বেশি মনে পড়ে। তাই কালকে কাউকে মিস করতে চাই না। চলুন সবাই মিলে দিনটাকে হাসি, গল্প, ছবি আর সুন্দর স্মৃতিতে ভরে তুলি। দেখা হবে আগামীকাল! ❤️

For the fourth consecutive year, the University of Georgia ranked No. 1 among U.S. universities for the number of new commercial products brought to market by industry partners based on university research. UGA has ranked either No. 1 or 2 for 11 consecutive years and has placed in the top five for all 13 years tracked by AUTM.

In fiscal year 2025, UGA industry partners and startups developed 58 new products from university research.

🎉 Congratulations to Naimul Islam Bhuiyan! 🎓

Naimul has successfully defended his second Master's degree at the University of Georgia, this time in Agribusiness. He also completed his first Master's degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics at UGA in Fall 2025.

He will continue his academic journey this fall as a Ph.D. student in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia.

👏 Congratulations on this incredible achievement and exciting new chapter! Wishing you continued success throughout your Ph.D. journey and all the best in your future endeavors. We are proud of you! 🌟
