During Homecoming, the inaugural Bobcat Tales event offers the Bobcat community the opportunity to record a brief personal story about what OHIO means to them.

Recordings will be preserved and shared through the StoryCorps Archive, creating a collection of voices that reflect the spirit, history and community of OHIO.

OHIO Homecoming annual display! 💚
Be sure to come by the Library for our annual huge Homecoming Display! It's open all week (when the 4th floor is open), closing Saturday at 5pm.

Check out yearbooks, scrapbooks, photos, posters, maps, letters, handbooks, sports programs/other sports memorabilia, student publications, and more!

Also this year, on Saturday 10am-4pm, same location, record your memories for the Bobcat Tales oral history project.

Percival Everett author event! Free and open to all.
Join Ohio University Libraries at Morton Hall Rm 210, Monday, Oct 12, 7-8:30pm!

During the event, Everett will read from and discuss his award-winning novel, “James,” a retelling of “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” from the fugitive slave character Jim’s perspective. “James” won the 2024 National Book Award and the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Afterward, Everett will be available to sign copies of his books.

Alden Library's Multimedia Mondays is exploring Adobe Illustrator's Toolbar. Today is the paint brush tool.

This series is meant for beginners. Join me as I also learn more about Adobe Illustrator's tools. Please, let me know in the comments if you have any tips and tricks I should include in future videos.

The version of Adobe Illustrator is 2026 v30.6.

Bobcat Tales! Share your OHIO stories with us at Homecoming! Sat 10/10 10AM-4PM on Alden 4th floor, by the display.

Participants (students, staff, alumni, faculty, friends) are invited to record a brief personal story about what OHIO means to them. Working with Brian Koscho (MFA ‘22) of Invisible Ground, the event will capture memories from across generations of Bobcats for the OHIO University Oral History Project.

These recordings will be preserved and shared through the StoryCorps Archive, creating a lasting collection of voices that reflect the spirit, history and community of OHIO.
