“Alpha Phi has truly been my biggest blessing since coming to UGA. Coming to college was such a huge change, and I never could have imagined how much this chapter would impact my life. Through Alpha Phi, I have met some of the most amazing people and am so grateful to have found friendships that I know will last a lifetime. I am forever grateful for the impact Alpha Phi has had on me, not only throughout my college experience, but also in helping me grow into a stronger, more confident version of myself. I wouldn’t change going Aphi for anything and I am forever thankful to be apart of this sisterhood! 🧸❣️”

Joining Alpha Phi at the beginning of this year was one of the best decisions I could have made coming to UGA. I’m so grateful for the friendships, support, and home away from home this chapter has given me. From bid day, the older girls have been so welcoming and always willing to answer my questions, and I’ve loved learning from the women in the HWA department. Their leadership and commitment inspired me to get involved as a freshman, and I’m so excited to continue growing within this chapter. Some of my favorite memories from freshman year have been the simple things, like Monday chapter dinners with my best friends. I can’t wait to get back to Athens and grow even closer with everyone while living in the house next year!!

Happy Monday!!! Today we are highlighting Lucy Gloria who just spent the semester abroad in Italy!!!

“Studying abroad in Cortona was truly the most special experience! I feel so lucky to have spent three months living in the most picturesque Tuscan town while learning about Italian art and culture. Along the way, I made such sweet friendships, explored so many incredible places, and created memories that I will cherish forever. My time abroad pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me grow in countless ways. Cortona will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I’m so grateful for every moment I spent there. But distance truly makes the heart grow fonder, and I can’t wait to return to Athens in the fall and reunite with all my sisters in Alpha Phi! 🩷🩷🩷”
