A little over a week ago, we had the pleasure of collaborating with The Russ College and Dr. Paula Linscott for a special Meal with a Mentor event. That same week the college hosted their fall career fair with more than 90 employers and over 600 student participants. Thanks to Dr. Linscott’s dedication and collaboration, more alumni were able to sit down with students, enjoy a meal, have meaningful conversation, build relationships, and discuss career paths and future goals.
Together, we brought 11 OHIO alumni together with 30 Russ undergraduate students for an alumni networking dinner. Many of the alumni guests were also on campus recruiting, which made the evening even more meaningful.
In reflecting on the event, Dr. Linscott said “it reinforced something I believe strongly, sometimes one conversation, one introduction, or one person willing to share their story can make a real difference in a student’s confidence and perspective.”
