Finally, our President for the year is Charlie Nelson. Charlie is a third-year Management Information Systems student from Cu***ng, Georgia. After graduation, he plans to pursue a Master of Science in Business Analytics and begin his career in a corporate environment.

“This brotherhood has played a major role in my spiritual and personal growth over the past couple of years. I have seen what happens when men commit to showing up for each other and for the Lord. That example is what I hope to build on as I serve as President this year. I am thankful for every brother who has invested in me and I look forward to leading in a way that serves the chapter well and keeps Christ at the center.”

Our Internal Vice-President for the year is Ty Phillips! Ty is a third-year pursuing degrees in Biology and Biomedical Physiology, and is on the Pre-Vet track. After college, Ty plans to pursue a career as a Mixed Practice Veterinarian.

“While I have been at UGA all of my three years in college, BYX was not part of my life Freshman year, and I found great community and places to grow my faith elsewhere. However, as I learned more about the fraternity and its values, attended open events, and saw the authentic love and support the brothers shared for each other, I realized that BYX was offering something unique that I wanted as a part of my college experience, in the short term, and even more importantly, my faith walk. Becoming a brother has formed and pushed me in novel ways both as a college man and follower of Jesus, and I have found my closest friends here. The connections in brotherhood are deep, and I’m honored to steward and work to further cultivate those deep bonds as Internal Vice President. The Lord is at work, and what a privilege to join him in his plans!”

Our External Vice President for the upcoming year is Panos Drakopoulos. Panos is a second-year student pursuing degrees in Finance and Economics. After college, he intends to begin a career in Management Consulting.

“I am extremely excited to serve this fraternity as the External Vice President, using the knowledge and abilities I have learned to best grow and advance our chapter. My time in this fraternity has provided me with lifelong brothers, who I can lean on in any circumstance. My tenure at the University of Georgia would not be the same without this fraternity and I am eager to continue the job that has been started.”
