Construction Update on McBay Science Library | UGA Libraries Submitted by Camie on Thu, 06/09/2022 A construction project this summer at the University of Georgia’s McBay Science Library may disrupt quiet study for a time, yet access to books and library services will continue throughout the construction period. The project entails upgrades to the library.....

Starting to feel that finals stress? Research shows that 15 minutes of petting an animal lowers your blood pressure by 10%, so join us on May 4 for some puppy time!

You can find our canine crew at libraries across campus: Main Library, MLC, Aderhold, Ramsey, the Special Collections, and of course McBay Science Library. Stop by between 11am and 1pm to cuddle some friendly pooches. They can't wait to see you!

Books and baked goods - is there a better pairing? Join the UGA library staff on Wednesday April 13 for the Book Sale/Bake Sale. From 9:00am to 3:30pm, visit the Main Library's atrium to pick up tasty treats and riveting reads. A portion of the proceeds benefit the local non-profit Chess and Community.

Beginning Monday, April 11, The McBay Science Library is excited to be one of eight stops on UGA's new Steps Toward Diversity self-guided tour!

This tour features eight sites throughout campus denoting African American contributions at the University of Georgia. Each site contains a QR code that allows for participants to learn more about the significance of each location. Each site also contains a word jumble letter; collect all 8 letters to solve the word jumble and be the first of 100 to receive an F&A Diversity Committee gift bag. This tour will be available from until May 31, 2022.
