The time has arrived. Late last year I was informed we were awarded a $650k, 5 yr grant to study the effects of simulated trailer vibrations on pig muscle fatigue. Today I visited with our farm managers to discuss setting up the room and electrical. Look forward to testing this summer! The Bacon Shaker Lives!!!

End of an era as we ran our last pig today on our 5-year project to reduce pig muscle fatigue. This project has been anything but easy, but we have learned a lot and trained many students.
