Michael Blackshire’s Masters Project documentary, Voices in the Mirror received the honor of being a Student Academy Award finalist. Blackshire, Viscom ‘25, did his masters project on Ovie Carter and Bob Black, two Chicago photojournalist who worked at the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times during the golden era of newspaper photojournalism.
