Welcome back! WISE on Campus hopes you had an awesome first week back to school! Events and meetings are right around the corner, so watch out for upcoming dates and times! :)

WISE Exec Applications are due TOMORROW at 5:00! Make sure to apply to be an exec so that you have a leg up in the competitive industry of sports and events! You'll meet awesome industry professionals and network with wonderful peers. It really is a great experience! Applicants will be contacted by Sunday, April 12 to set up an interview time during the week of April 13-17.

Here is a description of each position you can apply for:

WISE on Campus, UGA Chapter Executive Board Position Descriptions

President
• Register with and attend all CSO meetings when needed
• Run executive board and club meetings
• Making sure everything is ready for each event (confirming panelists and speakers, securing rooms, thank you notes)
• Organizing entire executive board
• Some listserv emails
• Making sure social media and PR are constantly keeping our organization’s name in front of people
• Communicating with WISE Atlanta regarding events, panels, socials, etc. Be sure to update them on our events and progress. Keep them involved.

Vice President
• Assist the President in all tasks she delegates to you
• Reserve rooms for meetings, panels, and other events
• Run club meetings alongside the President
• Attend phone conference meetings with WISE Atlanta

Finance Chair
• Handle all deposits, withdrawals, and reimbursements in conjuncture with our CSO bank account
• Maintain an accurate list of dues paying members
• Collect all dues from members and deposit into account
• Correspond with WISE Atlanta in transferring National dues
• Responsible for updating the executive board on the budget and delegating the amount of money that is able to be spent

Public Relations Chair & Assistant Public Relations Chair
• Update all WISE UGA social media platforms regularly (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
• Brainstorm new PR strategies to promote our meetings and special events, as well as make WISE Atlanta events known to members
• Create fliers and other promotional materials for Activities Fairs, meetings, panels, networking fairs, etc.
• Increase organization visibility on campus
• Take pictures at meetings and events to post to our social media accounts
• Work together with the Assistant Public Relations Chair

Membership Chair & Assistant Membership Chair
• Actively find ways to recruit and gain more members on campus
• Responsible for coordinating WISE UGA’s participation in the Fall and Winter Campus Activities Fair
• Listserv emails
• Maintain the list of WISE UGA members and WISE UGA alumni
• Reach out to alumni and sustain a positive relationship with all past members and professionals
• Work together with the Assistant Membership Chair in all recruiting and membership initiatives

Events Chair & Assistant Events Chair
• Manage logistics for every meeting and event (food, decorations, parking, tickets, etc.)
• Coordinate with other executive board members in promoting the events (Public Relations and Membership)
• Brainstorm ideas for new campus events and communicate details about all WISE Atlanta events to the executive board and club members
• Invite and correspond with WISE Atlanta professionals and guests to events
• Work together with the Assistant Events Chair in making sure all activities run smoothly

Don't forget- Applications for WISEuga Exec Board are due TOMORROW, April 10 at 5:00! Being an Exec member is a great opportunity to build you resume with relevant, sports-related leadership experience. You get great networking opportunities and meet some awesome sports industry professionals!

UGA v Ga Tech Baseball Tailgate with these awesome girls!

Dress for tonight's tailgate is campus casual! There will be pizza and drinks provided. We can't wait to hang out with you all and get closer with all of our club members!

Today is the day! Come tailgate with us at the UGA vs Ga Tech baseball game tonight starting at 6! We'll hang out, network, and eat for about an hour and then go into the game at 7:00. RSVP here so we make sure we have enough food!

Mark your calendars now for the WISEuga Peer Networking Tailgate at the UGA vs Ga Tech Baseball Game! The game is on March 31 at 7:00 pm, but we will begin tailgating a couple of hours before the game. More details TBA.. Stay tuned!
