I’ve really been working on not being so hard on myself. Holy heck it’s hard. I critique myself down to the tiniest of things and I never praise my accomplishments. I think it’s okay to congratulate ourselves on our achievements.
I’ve been hitting plateaus at the gym and it’s a battle for me. My mind makes me think I’m not good enough or that I’m never going to reach my goals. I know it’ll pay off in the end. It’s easier to tell yourself that than to actually think it.
I struggle with self worth a lot and it’s something that I’m trying my best to overcome. I think the most important thing is to surround ourselves with people who raise us up. I can’t thank the people in my life enough for their constant support and love. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. ❤️

when i was younger i got bullied on multiple occasions for the way i was built. i had “big” legs. weird, but it made me feel like s**t. i became obsessed with trying to change who I was. such a weird mentality to judge people who don’t look like you or act like you. i’ll never understand that concept. i still get down on myself. i’m my worst critique.
should we let people affect us in such a negative way? should we let people have control over our minds and hearts? people will hurt you, but it’s up to you on how you react. be proud of who you are and the progress you’re making, whether it’s physically or mentally, you’re growing and that’s all that matters.
