🥄✨ Golden Spoon Celebration! ✨🥄

Our Golden Spoon winners got to celebrate during advisory today! 🦅💛🖤

A little free time to play, some concessions, and lots of fun made for a great morning! These students earned this celebration by going above and beyond our FLY expectations in the lunchroom.

We love recognizing our Eagles for making great choices and setting a positive example each day. Keep it up! 👏

🎤 What an incredible message for our Eagles today! 🦅💛🖤

We were honored to welcome Reggie Dabbs to AMS as today’s guest speaker! Reggie shared a powerful message of hope, purpose, and knowing your worth—reminding our students that who you are is not determined by where you came from, but by where you are going.

His message was filled with encouragement, laughter, and a reminder we all need sometimes: love and hope always win. ❤️

A huge thank you to Calvary Assembly for sponsoring today’s event and making it possible to bring Reggie and his incredible message to our students. We are so thankful for community partners who invest in and encourage our Eagles! 🦅

📸 Thanks to AMS Yearbook staff for these amazing photos!

🌱 Learning is growing at AMS! 🌿

Ms. Moore’s Environmental Explorations class took a look at horticulture at its finest! Students welcomed a special guest speaker from the Limestone County Master Gardeners and then took their learning outside with a walking tour of our school greenhouse. 🪴🌻

What a great way to connect classroom learning with hands-on experiences and explore the world of horticulture right here at AMS! 🦅💛🖤

💗 On Wednesdays, We Wear Pink—for Dolly! 💗

Today we’re wearing pink in honor of Dolly Parton and the incredible example she continues to set through her giving spirit, kindness, and love for others.

📚 Through her passion for reading, Dolly has helped put books into the hands and homes of countless children, inspiring a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

A little pink. A lot of kindness. And a reminder that giving back can make a difference far beyond what we may ever see. 💕📖

Be kind. Give generously. Love big. Read often. 💗

🧪 7th Grade Scientists in Action! 🔬

Our 7th grade science students reviewed how to design and conduct experiments using scientific principles this week!

Students put those skills into action with some creative investigations—including a sweet student-designed experiment using Skittles 🌈 and a test inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man to see if a person’s height really is equal to their wingspan! 📏🙌

We love seeing our Golden Eagles ask questions, test ideas, collect data, and learn through hands-on science! 🦅💛🖤

🎢 6th Grade STEM Roller Coaster Challenge! 🎢

Our 6th grade STEM students took on a 4-day Roller Coaster Challenge! Working within real-world constraints, teams had limited supplies and space to design, build, test, and improve their very own paper roller coasters.

Students put their creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and engineering skills to the test—and the results were impressive! 👏

⏱️ Fastest time: 0.88 seconds!

Way to think like engineers and rise to the challenge, Eagles! 🦅🖤💛

⏰ Life 101: Time Management in Action!

Our Life 101 students wrapped up their Time Management Unit with some fun role-playing! Each group created and presented a skit showing both the wrong way and the right way to manage their time.

Through this activity, students learned an important life lesson: take care of your priorities first so you have time for the things you enjoy! 📚✅🏀🎨

A great hands-on way to practice skills they’ll use far beyond the classroom! 🦅

Congrats to our award winners!
