Cub Scouts is open to boys and girls in grades K–5 and offers opportunities for outdoor adventures, games, skill-building, community service, family activities, and more.

Fall is just around the corner! 🍂 Support the Morrison-Gordon school community by purchasing beautiful mums and other fall plants.

Sending huge thank you to MoGo parent and PTO volunteer Mackenzee Tenoglia for sharing her talents with our school community! Mackenzee created the incredible balloon arch and photo backdrops you may have spotted at Open House. She’s also a talented local artist and small business owner who creates custom hand-painted banners, lunch box notes, and more!

We loved seeing so many new and returning, familiar faces at Open House yesterday! Thanks for stopping by Popsicles on the Playground with the PTO as we kicked off another great school year together. We’re so excited for the year ahead!

🍎 Free Breakfast & Lunch for All ACSD Students! 🍎

ACSD is participating in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) again this school year, which means all students will receive one breakfast and one lunch each school day at no cost. Families do not need to complete an application to qualify for free meals.

A few things for MoGo families to know:

🍽️ Lunch choices: Students can choose from a hot lunch, salad, or sandwich option. Hamburger/cheeseburger and chicken sandwich options will rotate monthly.

💵 No money needed: PreK–6 buildings will not sell à la carte items this year, so students will not need money for meals at school.

📅 Menus: Monthly breakfast and lunch menus will be posted on the ACSD website: https://www.athenscsd.org/administration/food-services

Looking for a fun, FREE activity this weekend? 🌻🐝 🦋🚲

Community Food Initiatives and the Baileys Trail System are co-hosting a community event focused on outdoor activities, healthy living, and pollinator education!

The event will also include:
🥕 Free produce giveaway
🍴 Free food
🎨 Community mural painting

It’s a great opportunity for families to have some fun, learn something new, and support an event that helps address food insecurity in our region – a need that impacts many local students and families. 💚
