🌍 Language Labs is back and we’re looking for interns!

Are you interested in helping international students practice their English, sharing your experiences of American culture and student life at UGA, and building a stronger sense of community on campus?

Apply to become a Language Labs Intern for 2025–2026!

Interns will serve as peer instructors and cultural ambassadors, leading fun, interactive sessions designed to build confidence and fluency in real-world English.

Shoutout to everyone that’s been regularly attending Coffee Hour this year! Graduating seniors, we hope you had a blast coming to these events throughout your time at UGA, and that you will look back on your Friday mornings with fond memories :’) 🫂❤️

Last Friday, we hosted the Arab Cultural Association () in our Memorial Hall Ballroom! 😍

Hope you enjoyed the night; we loved the mocktail and henna stations, ethnic food, vibrant music, and learning some fun cultural dances! 🎉

It’s sad to say that this was our last Culture Night of the year ☹️; thank you so much to everyone that’s been attending and supporting ISL and our amazing organizations

Last Thursday, the Pakistani Student Association () hosted an amazing culture night! 🥰

From the music to the energy on the dance floor, plus seeing everyone in their stunning traditional wear, it was such an awesome way to celebrate. 🎉🎉

We cordially invite you to participate in International Student Life’s International Recognition Celebration on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, from 11:00am-1:00pm in the Richard B. Russell Building (Special Collections Library). 🎓🎉

This free celebration is for all international students, International Student Life student leaders, students who have contributed to the internationalization of the UGA community, and their families and friends to honor our students' achievements in an intimate atmosphere. This celebration is open to all students graduating in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025.

You can bring 4-5 guests! A reception will follow the ceremony, and you will also be provided a souvenir gift, a photo opportunity with UGA Vice President Dr. Michelle Cook, and a fun photo booth! 📸

In honor of National Student Worker Appreciation Week, we wanted to show our appreciation for our department’s amazing student staff! 😍

We are highlighting our Graduate Assistant, who manages several ISL programs such as Coffee Hours and ISL Student Organizations, our Communication Interns, who runs ISL’s social media and takes photos at our events, and one of our Office Assistants, who helps with a variety of tasks and programs in the department such as Coffee Hours and Street Fest!
