🎉 FFA Meeting Next Thursday! 🌱

Join us Thursday at 5:15 PM for our upcoming FFA meeting! We’ll be making ice cream 🍦, getting to know other FFA members, and having a great time together!

📣 Parents are encouraged to attend! We will also be holding a parent meeting to share important information about FFA, Young Farmer’s Organization and what’s coming up this year.

This year, we are excited to introduce a new way of keeping our families, supporters, and community informed! Instead of a traditional chapter update, we will be publishing a monthly FFA newsletter.

Each edition will highlight the accomplishments of our members, recognize our Members of the Month, showcase leadership and community service activities, provide updates on competitions and events, and share what’s happening within our chapter. We look forward to celebrating our students’ hard work and keeping you connected throughout the year.

FFA Members: if you are needing Community Service hours for your degrees or other organizations, HERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU! Athens Middle School is requesting help working in their flowerbeds tomorrow morning 7/20 OR Friday morning 7/31. You will report to the teachers or administrators there to begin working. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Today, we had one of our Athens FFA members receive her Lonestar Degree at Texas State Convention! Congratulations Lacey!! 💙💛

Congratulations to our Lonestar Degree Recipients! This is the highest degree awarded to active FFA members by each state. Both of these young ladies will be recognized this summer at the Texas FFA State Convention.
