Earlier this week, the brothers had the opportunity to tour Sanford Stadium as a reward for raising the most money for UGA Miracle and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. With the help of students, alumni, and the community, our chapter was able to raise and donate $1,141! Thank you to everyone that donated and came out to events to help support UGA Miracle and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta!

Thank you to everyone who came out and donated at the Capassi Blood Drive. Your generosity makes a real difference — every donation helps provide life-saving blood to patients right here in our local community.

Good morning, everyone! To finally end off this semester’s brother spotlights, last but not least, we are introducing Abhinav Prakash from Suwanee, Georgia. Before matriculating into pharmacy school, Abhi graduated from the University of Georgia at Terry College of Business with a Bachelor of Economics. Currently, Abhi works as a pharmacy intern at Walmart Pharmacy. Although he doesn’t hold any positions in Kappa Psi or other organizations, Abhi still enjoys volunteering and helping the community through Kappa Psi and its events. After graduation, he plans to enter the pharmaceutical industry and specialize in an area that combines the worlds of economics and pharmacy.
“I didn’t want to just go through pharmacy school and hope things worked out. Kappa Psi provided me with brothers who will always have your back and actually know what they’re doing, especially when it comes to navigating the pharmaceutical industry.”

Good morning, everyone! As the semester begins to close, we are introducing our final brothers for this week. Starting off the last week of brother spotlights is Eli Prince from Cairo, Georgia. Eli possesses years of independent pharmacy experience in the rural, south Georgia area from working as a pharmacy technician. In Kappa Psi Gamma Phi, Eli works with Alumni Relations and enjoys volunteering in the community. After graduation, Eli plans to pursue a career in independent pharmacy because he has a great appreciation for small town independents and is always looking to give back to the communities that have impacted him so much.
“Coming into pharmacy school, I was aware of KY from some of the pharmacists that I worked with who graduated from the UGA chapter. They pushed me to learn more about it when I got to UGA, and so far I’ve met a great pledge class by doing so. With KY, I wish to gain a better understanding of what pharmacy has to offer; we have a strong bunch of alumni who are willing to give back to the chapter, and I have learned a lot from them. While here though, I’m happy to be involved in any way I can from brother events, to just spending time with this great group of guys.”

“Good afternoon, everyone! To end off this week’s brother spotlights is Michael Webster from Tampa, Florida. Currently, Michael works as a pharmacy intern at Publix Pharmacy. Although he doesn’t hold any positions in Kappa Psi, Michael is still interested in getting more involved and participating in philanthropic events. After graduation, Michael hopes to pursue a leadership role in community pharmacy, focusing on patient safety and pharmacist wellness.
“I joined KY to connect with others in pharmacy, grow professionally, and develop my leadership skills. I’m looking forward to getting involved, building relationships, and contributing to the organization.”

Good afternoon, everyone! Kicking off this week’s brother spotlights is Jeremy Herr from Winder, Georgia. Jeremy completed part of his pre-pharmacy studies at the University of North Georgia and later attended the University of Georgia to finish them. Currently, he works at Publix Pharmacy as a pharmacy intern. In addition, he serves as the Historian of Kappa Psi Gamma Phi and is also a member of SCCP and APhA. After graduation, Jeremy plans to pursue a residency and specialize in either ambulatory care or cardiology as a Clinical Pharmacist.
“I made the decision to join Kappa Psi Gamma Phi in order to build my leadership, communication, and professional skills necessary for my career. In addition, I sought to establish meaningful connections and lifelong brotherhood with individuals who share similar aspirations of changing both the pharmacy and healthcare worlds. From this organization, I have made huge impacts for my college, community, and even myself through philanthropic opportunities and volunteering. In the future, I plan to inspire new generations of student pharmacists as well as leaving this organization better than I found it.”

Happy Friday, everyone! To end off this week’s brother spotlights, we are introducing John Elliott from Chatsworth, Georgia. John completed his pre-pharmacy studies at Dalton State College. He currently serves as the Recruitment Chair for Kappa Psi Gamma Phi and works as a pharmacy technician at Food City and Hamilton Medical Center. After graduation, John plans to pursue a career as a Clinical Pharmacist.
“I decided to join KY to make connections and give back to the community. KY has provided opportunities to network and form life-long friendships. I am excited to continue my journey with KY and further my growth as a future pharmacist.”
