Full-Time MBA internship highlight!☀️

This summer, Full-Time MBA student Naveed Ashfaque is interning with the FedEx Digital Portfolio team. Naveed is working at the intersection of Product, Design, and AI-powered customer experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive digital innovation and customer-focused product initiatives.

Hands-on roles like this showcase how UGA MBA students apply cutting-edge concepts in real-world settings, gaining the strategic leadership and technical agility needed to drive impact in an evolving marketplace.

Meet Jake Mosley, Director of Student Engagement for the Full-Time MBA and MS Business Analytics programs at UGA's Terry College of Business.

Jake's favorite part of his job is helping students make the most of their graduate experience, from navigating academics and leadership opportunities to building a community where they can thrive.

Jake has dedicated his career to higher education, with a focus on student success and leadership development. He works closely with students, faculty, alumni, and community partners to create meaningful experiences that connect the classroom with the real world.

A little more about Jake: He's a three-time graduate of UGA and never passes up the chance to cheer on the Dawgs. Outside the office, you'll often find him spending time with his wife and two daughters at some of his favorite Athens spots or smoking wings and BBQ to share with friends.

The Forté Conference was a great success. Two staff members attended on behalf of the program: Cierra from the Career Management Center and Leigh from Admissions, two sides of the program coming together in support of student success. Together, they supported 7 incoming students through the Consulting Symposium and the main conference floor, and reconnected with 3 incredible alumni along the way.

The conference brought together top companies from Atlanta and neighboring areas for this women's leadership event, designed to support incoming first year MBA women and allies. Over 600 students from Forté member MBA schools attended, giving students the chance to connect with peers from several other MBA programs, both in and out of Georgia. The day kicked off with a plenary featuring Forté CEO Elissa Sangster, and students had the chance to hear from industry leaders across functions like finance, marketing, consulting, tech, and operations, meet new employers, and learn about the market. Truly an amazing experience.

None of this happens without Leigh Britton, Associate Director of Admissions, and the admissions team, whose work cultivating the relationship with organizations like Forté opened this door in the first place. Partnerships like that are what make experiences like this possible for students.

We're proud to highlight Arjun Athian, who is spending the summer as an MBA Product Manager Intern on Google Core.

In his role, Arjun works on the foundational tools that support Google's developers, partnering with engineering teams to align product development with internal customers' needs. By helping define product strategy, he's contributing to the infrastructure that enables innovation across Google's product ecosystem.

Internship experiences like this demonstrate how the UGA Full-Time MBA prepares students to lead cross-functional teams, think strategically, and solve complex business challenges at organizations shaping the future of technology.
