Ohio University Creative Expressions This organization is a faculty-supported, student-run organization at Ohio University. Educational inclusion is our motivation.

As an organization, we work with children with developmental disabilities within the Athens, OH community schools. Students from Ohio University are delighted to be partnering with the Athens community in working with children through the art of educational inclusion. Small groups of college students within this organization have developed lesson plans utilizing equipment built for children with a

nd without disabilities. These groups have also participated with children using these advancements at Beacon School, the Child Development Center and West Elementary School. Creative Expressions strives to work with children on communication through organized activities which focus on areas such as problem solving, teamwork, daily communication, and cognitive tasks at the appropriate age levels of the children. Creative Expressions is looking for more opportunities in which to expand their knowledge and resources in working with children and the continuing development of educational inclusion.
