On the fifth floor of the Alden Library at Ohio University, a special collection showcases personal items and documents used by John Wilhelm and Cornelius Ryan while covering World War II, especially the Normandy landing. The collection includes Ryan's typewriter, the outfit he wore as an embedded journalist, maps he relied on for reporting, and his helmet.
