Today, was our final spring break 2026 Staycation event of the week. Today our volunteerism event was honored to have Goodwill as a partner at the HAACAP location in Logan today. Our combined group joyfully packed 368 food boxes. Packing boxes filled with food items and a love of spirit was really meaningful for our group Raya, our onsite host was an absolute treasure to be around.

Day two of our 1 st annual OHIO Staycation did not disappoint. Our students did a great iob of timekeeping and scoring support at the OHIO Prostart event crafted by the Ohio Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. Super proud of the support and motivation given by our OHIO students on spring break. It's important to remember if we are lucky we all had advocates and mentors. # PCOE

Day # 1 of our first annual Staycation during spring break is completed. Our international cooking "chopped " contest did not disappoint. Our winner was Punam Bhandari who cane with a talented spoon and rocked it out. No recipes allowed. Tomorrow we head to the Ohio Prostart Invitational for event support, representing OHIO Bobcats and the Patton programs. More photos to follow.

What an awesome October so far at OHIO. We served 300 veterans for the Athens Stand Down event in support for our veteran community, an alumnae demonstration of Halah food, a 30 person etiquitte dinner for scholars, and of course 165 of our Patton and University family for Homecoming. So many great memories already with lots of tasty nourishment. Bobcats using local foods to make healthy meals with both a local and international focus. Supporting our community in the way that lets us live into our purpose Experiential learning at its tastiest. Proud Proud

Today we laid witness to a super yummy treat from the culinary vision of Bobcat graduate and owner of My Halah kitchen, Yvonne Maffie 97. The date recipe shared, in students terms was "fire". A bigger demonstration is happening tomorrow as part of the OHIO School of International Studies and Languages, grand opening celebration.
