Hello all! I see we have a lot of new joins, so I just wanted to say hi and tell you a little bit about the page. The page was started many years ago and was intended to be a way for Parent Groups (PTOs, PTAs, PTSOs) to have a common page to share events and news so that they could collaborate and share ideas between schools. When I started this page, I was a Chase parent helping to start that PTO and we were meeting with other PTOs trying to learn from each other. Other FB groups have since started and splintered off from this page- wishing to more actively debate district issues.

I now have a high school senior and a middle schooler (CCHS and CMS) and have not been doing much with this page. Y'all are welcome to post and communicate and if there are parent groups interested in administrating it I am happy to add administrators.

There is definitely a lot of controversy going on right now in CCSD-- but the focus of this page has always been increasing parent and community support in ALL the schools and helping parent groups throughout the district connect.
