✨ Congrats to our selected to serve as Athens-Limestone Hospital Ambassadors!

Meet the 2026–2027 Athens-Limestone Hospital Student Ambassadors!

We are excited to welcome this year’s class of ALH Student Ambassadors—an outstanding group of local high school students ready to learn, serve and make a difference in our community.

Throughout the year, these students will get a behind-the-scenes look at healthcare, explore a variety of careers, connect with hospital leaders and team members, and participate in opportunities to serve Athens-Limestone Hospital and our community.

We’re proud to invest in the next generation of leaders and give students an opportunity to experience firsthand the many people and careers that make healthcare possible.

Please join us in welcoming our 2026–2027 ALH Student Ambassadors! We’re looking forward to a great year together. 💚

✨ GOLDEN LEGENDS CELEBRATION Athens High School will proudly welcome back and recognize members of the 2006 Class 5A State Championship Football Team on Friday, October 9, at 6:30 PM at Athens Stadium, Home of the Athens Golden Eagles!

Led by Head Coach Allen Creasy, the Golden Eagles finished the season with a 12–3 record and made an unforgettable postseason run, winning four consecutive playoff games on their way to the state championship. On December 8, 2006, Athens defeated Eufaula, bringing the state championship trophy back to Athens for the first time since 1976. Twenty years later, we celebrate the players, coaches, and all those who were part of this historic championship season and the legacy they helped build.

Following the recognition, Athens High School will take on Russellville at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available on the GoFan. Reminder that ACS has a Clear Bag Policy and Golden Guidelines for all athletic events.

Let’s pack the stands as we celebrate our Golden Eagle Legends!

LEMONADE WARS 🍋 Mrs. Clemons' Entrepreneurship students put their business skills to the test in Lemonade Wars! This hands-on competition introduced students to the challenges and rewards of building a business.

During lunch, student teams marketed and “sold” their lemonade creations in the AHS courtyard. Each team was judged on pitch, marketing strategy, overall presentation, and profit. Students visited the stands to learn about each product, and spent “Lemonade Bucks” to support their favorite business.

Through this project, modeled after Alabama 4-H 🍀 Lemonade Wars, students gained practical experience in product development, budgeting, branding, marketing, sales, customer service, and public speaking as they turned an idea into a business.

Special thanks to Kim Dunnivant from Athens State LaunchBox, Chloe Wilson from Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Ramona Malone, ACS Career Coach, and all who made this engaging and tasty experience possible.
