Xi Delta

Xi Delta Sorority, Inc. University of Georgia Xi Delta was founded at the University of Georgia in January of 1991.

We are a local social sorority, meaning we are a social sorority found only at the University of Georgia. We are a diverse group of women all focused on attaining bonds of sisterhood, academic achievement, leadership development, and commitment to serving others. Our smaller size gives us the unique ability to establish and maintain intimate life-long relationships while our independence allows us

the autonomy to create the organization that best fits the needs of the members without the need for a national governing body. For many college women sorority membership offers a lifetime of learning and involvement, providing valuable opportunities for sisterhood, leadership, scholarship, social and philanthropic activities during the college years and beyond. Xi Delta sisters have wonderful, lasting friendships that can help make a big school like the University of Georgia seem a little smaller, especially when you see a sister’s smiling face just when you need it on campus. Xi Delta members participate in all types of activities, and our campus involvement helps us to make the most of our overall college experiences and our futures. Through sisterhood, philanthropy, social and community acts, Xi Delta sisters create the most memorable college experiences possible, while making lifelong friendships.
