Ohio University Academic Advancement Center The Academic Advancement Center (AAC) offers support services that assist Ohio University undergradu Payment is due at the beginning of each tutoring session.

The Ohio University Academic Advancement Center (AAC) is here to help Ohio University undergraduate students reach their full academic potential. We offer many services including:

Tutoring Services
Individual tutoring is designed to enhance understanding of class material and improve academic performance. There are over 600 courses offering tutoring and you can always make a referral for a tutor

in a particular subject. Please Note: Tutoring is available in most subjects, however this is not a guaranteed service.One-on-one peer tutoring is a paid service. Although tutoring is not free, the Academic Advancement Center offers FREE help in a variety of settings to also push students to succeed:

Supplemental Instructions (SI)
SI provides students in selected classes with free learning opportunities. These evening study sessions, held several times throughout each week, are led by undergraduate leaders who have already completed the course successfully. Leaders help students to master information by reviewing lecture notes, exam preparation, and improving study skills. These same leaders even attend your class! Study Skills Instruction
AAC professional staff provides help with strategies for improving academic performance. One-on-one study skills tutoring appointments are available. Math Center
Students with specific math related questions could meet with a free Math Center tutor. Assistance is on a first-come, first-serve basis or in small groups. Tutors are available for 30 minute individual daytime appointments and evening drop-in sessions. Use this Fan Page to stay up-to-date with all that is going on with Tutoring, the AAC and more. You can make requests for tutors, learn of any time changes, even ask general questions about the center that you can't find anywhere else!
