A special thank-you to the Athens Fire Department for teaching us about fire safety this week!

Firefighters visited our 4K classroom to talk about staying safe and even put on their gear so the students could see what firefighters look like in an emergency.

Our kindergarteners got to visit the fire station.

Students in grades 5–8 had the opportunity to practice putting out a real fire using a fire extinguisher.

We’re grateful to the Athens Fire Department for such a fun and educational week!
