Two articles from Athens Technical College’s Alpha Tau Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa have been selected for PTK’s undergraduate journals!

“Reclaiming Agency: Keeping the Story Alive” (Honors in Action) will appear in the 2026 Civic Scholar journal as 1 of just 15 articles chosen from 434 submissions, highlighting a research-based service project at the Athens-Clarke County Library.

“Sun’s Gonna Come Up: GED Toolkits for Incarcerated Learners” (College Project) will be published in Change Makers, selected from nearly 500 submissions and showcasing collaboration with Athens Tech Student Affairs, Adult Education, and the Athens-Clarke County Jail to support incarcerated GED students.
