The mission of the American Mock World Health Organization, AMWHO, UGA Chapter is to allow students who are primarily interested in Global Health, Health Policy, Diplomacy, and Healthcare to engage in scholarly discourse by simulating the World Health Organization. AMWHO UGA will be participating in national conferences each year. The national organization strives to create AMWHO chapters across t

he nation and will host conferences at different universities each year. AMWHO UGA will participate in these conferences and will be among both other national universities and individual competitors. AMWHO UGA strives to bring together students through not only these World Health Assembly simulations, but also through speaker series, public policy debates, and interactive public health studies. AMWHO UGA creates an atmosphere on UGA’s campus that encourages students to learn more about healthcare policy.
