Our PTF rolled in with the JNES Pitstop, bringing along some of our favorite snacks and drinks to fuel our JNES family for the journey ahead! 🥤🍪🍿

A little pick-me-up goes a long way, and we’re so thankful for our PTF for making sure our teachers and staff had a chance to refuel, recharge, and feel appreciated. 🖤💛

📣REMINDER Pep Rally on the Square, a very special tradition, will be held on Friday, August 21, at 3:30 PM.

Early dismissal times:
*Pre-K - 1:45 PM
*Elementary - 2:20 PM
*Athens Middle School - 2:30 PM
*Athens Intermediate School - 2:40 PM
*Athens High School - 2:45 PM

Buses will depart at each school's early dismissal time. Please plan for your bus rider to arrive home earlier than usual. Latchkey will be available at all K-5 schools. If you have any questions regarding early dismissal, transportation, or Latchkey, please contact your child's school.

We hope you will join us as we cheer on our Athens Golden Eagles 🦅 at Pep Rally on the Square! 🖤💛

Tomorrow, Thursday 8/20, the AHS cheerleaders will be selling Spirit Items first thing in the morning at $1.00 each. They will have gold and black beads, waterless tattoos and game-day ribbons to choose from. Make sure to send money labeled with your child’s name. Let’s support our Golden Eagles!! Life is off to a great start in Mrs. Amy Green’s Pre-K class! 💛 Everyone has settled into their daily routines and quickly discovered just how much fun learning centers can be! The students have enjoyed lots of wonderful books, practiced recognizing their names and the letters they begin with, and started building early math skills through counting and hands-on activities. Of course, we’re making plenty of time for play, friendships, and fun along the way! 🧸💛
We’re already learning and growing so much, and we can tell it’s going to be a wonderful year! 🍎✏️📚
