We want to recognize 2026 Teacher of the Year and ALEC’s very own graduate Rachel Kinsaul (BSA - Animal Science ‘09; MAL - Agricultural Leadership, ‘11). Her commitment to students in agricultural education is astounding and we are so proud to have her as an Alumna!

We are so excited to have everyone back on campus! Happy syllabus week everyone! 📝

🎉 Big congratulations to our ALEC graduate students, Aishat Aina (M.S.) and Maria Ramsey (Ph.D.), for being named Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Award Winners in the CAES departmental competition! 🏆

In just three minutes and with one slide, they each delivered powerful presentations that made their research clear, compelling, and accessible to everyone—no specialist background required. 💡🎤

We’re proud of their communication excellence and excited to cheer them on in the final round this August! 👏
