We are so proud of Amauri!

At 22, Amauri has already lived a story of perseverance many never face.

Raised through hardship, she became a mother while pursuing a nursing path and chose to pause her education so she could fully show up for her children. That decision came with challenges, including housing insecurity and job loss, but it never dimmed her vision for the future.

With AHKF support, Amauri returned to school, earned her CNA certification, and received a job offer — a powerful step forward for her family and her career.

Her journey continues as she uplifts other young mothers and works toward her dream of providing compassionate care to children.

Amauri’s story is exactly why AHKF exists: to help women transform resilience into lasting opportunity.
