A Little Kindness That Means So Much!

Today at ACMS, we were blessed with a very special visit from Steve Miller with Shelter Insurance, who stopped by with a beautiful bouquet of flowers to congratulate our very own Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Kristin Combs!

What makes this gesture even more special is that Steve’s wife inspired him to reach out to Kristin because she wanted her to know that the work she does every day does not go unnoticed. She recognized what a tremendous accomplishment being named Teacher of the Year is and wanted to make sure Kristin felt celebrated and appreciated!

Teaching is so much more than a job. It takes dedication, compassion, patience, and a heart for making a difference in the lives of students. Sometimes, the smallest gestures remind us just how much our hard work matters.

Thank you, Steve and your wife, for taking the time to recognize and celebrate Mrs. Combs! Your thoughtfulness brought smiles to our day and reminded us how wonderful it is when a community comes together to lift one another up.

Congratulations again, Mrs. Kristin Combs! We are so proud of you and thankful for all you do for our students and school!
