Athens City Middle School - Cougars Welcome to the official page of Athens City Middle School, Home of the Cougars! Athens City Middle School has 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

We were formerly the Athens Junior High School. Our Principal is Mr. Mike Simmons and our Assistant Principal is Dr. Trey Ivins. We currently have 495 students.

Book Fair begins TOMORROW through Friday, Aug. 28th. All parents/guardians are invited to our family night and shop on Tuesday from 4pm-6pm. There are items for younger children, as well. We hope to see you there!!!

Be sure to send your child's money to school with them. No money can accepted at the office.
