What a great way to finish our last full day of adventures with our Welsh friends.

Today our Bridges Across Borders students enjoyed a ride on the Hiawatha, visited Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland, and stopped at the World of Little League Museum.

A huge thank you to TERPS and Rollin with Rogers for generously covering the cost of today’s experience. Their support helped us give these students one more incredible day of memories before they begin the journey home.

This week has been about friendship, culture, community, and giving kids the chance to experience something bigger than themselves.

Cross Country

It was a great day for Wildcat Cross Country at the McQuaid Invitational in Rochester. The Junior High Girls team finished 4th out of 31 teams, and were led by Evelyn Owen and Lydia Swingle in 7th and 17th place.

The Junior High Boys had four runners finish in the top 50, with Rowan Morales taking 3rd overall.

The Varsity girls were led by Alissa Vough in 25th, and the Varsity boys were led by Jacob Shores in 34th.

The McQuaid invitational is one of the largest meets in the US, with approximately 250 schools and 7000 athletes competing each year.
