Live and learn in the Smoky Mountains this summer!

We have a few spaces left in Discover Abroad's Smoky Mountains National Park trip, Aug. 10-16. The 3-credit course, Field Studies in Conservation (FORS/ANTH 4270/6270), is open to all majors and uses the national park as your classroom.

Learn the natural and cultural history of the Smokies through guided hikes. Expert lectures teach about wildlife in the park and how it is managed. Plus, take part in innovative environmental education and interpretative programs (for example catching salamanders or air quality experiments).
