Since 1943, Athens Bible School has endeavored to provide quality education in a Christian environment and to equip young people with the tools to be successful. Our first Senior Chapel of the year was a special one! 💚💛

Caleb Williams and Zach Piowarski led us in song, followed by Ryan Faust reading Romans 12:1-2.

Jackson Ortner shared a thoughtful message about free will and God’s omnipotence. Looking at Isaiah 46:9-10 and Jeremiah 1:5, he reminded us that God knows the past, present, and future and has great plans for us, but He has also given us the freedom and responsibility to choose.

Not everything that happens may happen “for a reason,” but God can use every situation for His will and His glory. He doesn’t want us to sit back with no purpose or direction. He wants us to use the freedom He has given us to choose to follow Him.

As we begin this school year, we each have a choice to make. We have to choose to make it a good year, setting our priorities on doing what is right and bringing glory to God.

Luke Murrell closed our singing, and Gavin Butler led us in prayer.

We are thankful for our seniors and their willingness to lead and encourage our student body! 💚💛
