UGA Animal and Dairy Science

Big dreams start small. Ms. Lindy loved visiting with first graders and introducing them to careers in Animal and Dairy Science. From farmers, to meat fabricators to veterinarians, these students are already dreaming big, and we loved being part of their journey.

Dr. Barb and Ms. Lindy are proud to be representing CAES today at Austin Rd Elementary. We are talking about GA Agriculture to 700 future AG leaders! Go AG Dawgs!!

Please join us in congratulating Audrey Knoper on being selected as the Spring 2026 CAES Convocation student speaker!

Audrey is an ADS senior who balanced academics, research, athletics and service throughout her time here, and will also be graduating with the Highest Honors. After graduation, she plans to attend Indiana University School of Medicine to become a rural surgeon.

This is a wonderful honor and a well-deserved recognition. We are proud to have Audrey representing our department at convocation and look forward to hearing her address.
