Tull graduates make an impact far beyond Georgia. MAcc graduates from the 2025-2026 academic year have secured full-time employment across the country, ranging from the Bay Area to Boston, and many locations in between. The Tull alumni network maintains a national presence and includes leaders from the classroom to the C-suite.

Professional development opportunities offer more than just knowledge and industry skills - they can also reunite faculty and alumni! At the KPMG faculty symposium this week, Professors Jennifer Chapman and Julie McGinty had a chance to connect with recent alumni Mia Lee, Collier Harper, and Gray Frederick. It’s always a great day when members of the Tull network get to connect!

Congratulations to Dr. Erin Towery, whose paper recently won the Journal of the American Taxation Association (JATA) best paper award! The paper, entitled IRS Endorsement and Voluntary Tax Disclosure, was co-authored with former PhD student Anne Einhinger and former UGA professors Josh Lee & Bridget Stromberg. Tull continues to make an impact in the ever-important field of research, contributing significantly to the accounting industry as a whole.

Class of 2026 - you did it! Your academic pursuits have culminated to this. Congratulations to everyone celebrating their graduation. Be proud of everything you have accomplished, and remember there are thousands of Bulldogs cheering you on each step of the way.

Recent Tull alumni Rhianna McKinney, Cassidy Nix, and Luke Roberts enjoyed a firm outing to an Atlanta Braves game earlier this week. A career in accounting involves lots of hard work, but sometimes, it also involves a trip to the ballpark in the middle of the work day!

Dozens of MAcc students celebrated passing their CPA exams earlier this week at a congratulatory dinner. This dinner served to recognize students who have passed at least 3 sections of the exam before graduating. They put forth hours of sacrifice and studying to succeed, and their hard work has paid off. Congratulations to these students, and best of luck to all our MAcc students who are in the midst of their CPA exams!

To better reflect the spirit of its namesake, the fountain in Coca-Cola will be filled with bubbling soft drinks instead of water. This will be done so da students, faculty, and staff will be able to enjoy a refreshing drink at any time!
