To kickoff the day, we would like every classroom to have a guest reader before we head out on the parade route. Please sign up to read to a class. We are busy and excited in the library gearing up for a new Barrow tradition, Wish Tree Day. On December 19th, students can wear pajamas to school. They will come to the library to hear the book, The Wish Tree by Kyo Maclear. Then, they will visit the rotunda for hot chocolate and to add a wish to our Barrow wish trees. It is sure to be a magical day.

A schoolwide event like this takes lots of helpers along the way. We are in need of volunteers to help prepare the wish tags on December 6th and volunteers to serve hot chocolate in the rotunda on December 19th. Please sign up here:

Our fall book fair is coming up next week. I always setup an ewallet to support students who are a little short on funds to make their purchase or students who don’t have any funds at all. We want every student to be able to make a purchase at the fair if they want to. If you would like to help, you can donate any amount at this link.

It's hard to believe, but our first book fair of the year is quickly approaching. Book fair is a chance for your family to shop for new books and raise money for our library at the same time. Book fair will begin on October 4 and end on October 12.

We need volunteers to help setup, assist students with their shopping, and packing up the fair. Each job is easy to do. Setup and pack up move quickly with just a few extra hands.
