As CEO, she now leads one of North America's leading specialty paper manufacturers, guiding the company's next chapter and continued success.

Meet the Alum of the Day, Mack McEwen! Mack graduated with a BBA in Management in 2016 and is a Senior Learning Manager (HR) at Honeywell. Mack is on Honeywell's enterprise learning team, helping shape how learning and development programs are designed, managed, and delivered across a global organization. Since joining Honeywell in 2019, she has held a variety of HR and learning leadership roles spanning talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, employee relations, and business transformation. Mack has lived and worked in three U.S. locations, traveled across eight countries, and earned more than 30 internal excellence awards for her impact on talent development, organizational change, and employee engagement.
Although Mack originally came to UGA on the pre-med track, she quickly realized organic chemistry had others plans for her. One conversation with a Terry advisor changed everything and even though she applied for Marketing, Mack was accepted for Management and was immediately hooked on HR. Mack is a founding member of UGA's Society for Human Resource Management, an experience that further sparked her interest in workplace culture, leadership, and people development.
Mack is both a mentor and mentee within her organization and has found tremendous value in learning from others while helping support professional growth.

It's the Year of the Dawg! 🐾 Business Bulldogs are doing big things, and today we're recognizing Michael Lage on his promotion to Chief Marketing Officer at Chick-fil-A. After 14 years with the company in a variety of leadership roles, Michael now oversees the marketing efforts of one of the nation's most recognized and influential brands. His appointment reflects a career defined by strategic leadership, innovation, and a commitment to serving customers and communities. A dedicated member of the Terry community, Michael regularly returns to campus to speak with students, visit classes, and reconnect with the professors and mentors who helped shape his journey.

Meet the Alum of the Day, Jack Felton! Jack graduated in 2024 with a BBA in Real Estate and is a Real Estate Analyst at Dilmon, a family office based in the Middle East managing capital with a long-term, global investment mandate and invests across a range of asset classes. Jack works across the full investment cycle supporting the evaluation of new acquisitions and development opportunities while helping manage a global real estate portfolio spanning the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East. He also contributes to sourcing and determining investment strategy, analyzing opportunities across different markets and asset types to help drive the firm's strategic growth.
Jack's interest in a real estate career sparked during an internship in construction, where he was first exposed to how projects are developed and executed on the ground. This led him to intern at StepStone Group in their real estate private equity group. Jack's role at StepStone was focused on acquisitions and evaluating new investment opportunities, where he developed skills in underwriting, investment memorandum preparation, and understanding all stages of the transaction process. He worked at StepStone for a year and a half before joining Dilmon.
While at UGA, Jack was involved in the Real Estate Society and enjoyed being in the Real Estate program. He shared Dr. Munneke leads a fantastic program that truly allows you to get a head start on your peers.
Jack attended his first UGA game in 2009 and comes from a Bulldog and Terry Alumni family!

We begin with a major milestone for the Terry College of Business: the appointment of Dr. Santanu Chatterjee as Dean. Since stepping into the role on April 1, Dean Chatterjee has brought thoughtful leadership and a vision for advancing Terry’s impact through excellence in education, research, and engagement. We’re proud to recognize this achievement as we celebrate the people shaping the future of the Terry community.

This month’s Terry Third Thursday breakfast speaker series, sponsored by Synovus, brought alumni and friends together for a conversation with ESPN Analyst Aaron Murray and UGA Psychology Professor Brian Hoffman.
