is here! We love our returning Assistant Director and 5 Day 3’s Lead Teacher, Jennifer Taylor. She joined the staff of EEDS in 2008. She has worked exclusively with the three-year-olds. She is terrific at supporting and guiding parents through their children’s developmental stages, with years of experience and research to share. We are so fortunate she has been with us for so long and continued to share her wisdom with us educators too. In 2015, she received the distinguished teacher of the Year award from the Georgia Preschool Association. Jennifer graduated from UGA in 1996 with a BA in history and earned a CDA in 2010. She has been married for 26 years to her husband, John. They have two children, Jessica, 19, and Jackie, 17, both alums of EEDS.

Open House happening right now!

Dear Parents,
If you are curious about Emmanuel Day School (EEDS) for your little one next school year, we will be hosting an open house next Wednesday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
EEDS is a play-based, morning program which encourages learning through play, outside time, creativity, art-making, and friendship in a developmentally appropriate way for children ages 20 months to 4 years. Our students are active, engaged, and treated with love and respect!
Spaces are quickly running out for next year, so if you are hoping to secure placement in our fall program, please don’t delay. You are also welcome to email the director (myself) at [email protected] for more information or to schedule a private tour.

Dear Athens Community,

Emmanuel Day School will be having a Toy Drive fundraiser in support of the Ukraine this Friday, March 25, 2022. All proceeds from the toy sale will be donated to GlobalGiving, a vetted organization supporting locally-led organizations in Ukraine.

Come find a fun new toy and enjoy a donut and coffee with us for a good cause!
