🐾 What a wonderful evening, Bulldog families! Thank you to everyone who came out for Kindergarten Orientation and Open House. It was so good to see familiar faces and welcome new ones to East.

A big thank you to TS Photos - OHIO for running the photo booth (provided by your PTO), and to Kona Ice for the sweet treats. And of course, to all the teachers and staff who put in the work to make the night happen. We are lucky to have you.

This morning, we helped our East teachers and staff start the year off right with a yummy breakfast of SAMMYS NEW YORK BAGELS, Rise & Grind coffee and fresh fruit and spreads 🙌

East Elementary is buzzing with everyone getting ready for Kindergarten Orientation and Open House tonight and our first day back for students on Monday!

Once again, we're partnering with Darrell Norris & Son Greenhouses in Racine to bring you these long-lasting, vibrant fall favorites. Last year families couldn’t believe how big and beautiful these blooms were, and this year’s are sure to be just as stunning.

Every purchase supports East Elementary, from classroom supplies to field trips and community events. Prices start at just $10, with hanging baskets, color combos, and pumpkin pots too.

🐾 The board got together this week to plan out the year ahead, and we’re really looking forward to what’s coming this school year 💚💛

🏫 First up: Come find us at Open House next Friday, Aug. 21 (4:00–5:30 PM, Cafeteria Entrance on Wallace Drive).

📸 Thanks to your generous donations, PTO is teaming up with TS Photos - OHIO for a free photo booth so families can capture a little memory from the start of the school year. Along with free Kona Ice for all students! Come by, say hello, we’d love to meet you, especially if you’re new to East.

🗓️ Our first meeting of the year is Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 5:30 PM. Everyone’s welcome, and it’s a great low-key way to get involved.

📣 Help us pick our PTO meeting day for this school year!

We're planning for this school year and want to meet when it works best for you. We've met on Tuesday, once a month, for the past few years, but with so many families juggling sports and extracurriculars, we're wondering if a Friday might be easier.

Is childcare a deciding factor in whether you can attend? The past couple of years we've collaborated with the Stevens Center for Literacy and STEM Education to provide the Bulldog Book Club for the kids while we meet. Is this helpful?
