Tanner Elementary Agriculture Technology The premier elementary agriculture technology classroom. We are excited to offer these learning experiences to our elementary scholars!

Improving our mission by adding a STEAM focus, which fosters not only the core subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics but also agricultural science. The integration of agriculture within the elementary curricula brings learning to life. Our mission at Tanner Elementary School is to be a premier learning system that delivers agricultural, environmental, technological, an

d leadership education programs and services for our elementary scholars. Agriculture education programs not only teach students how to be farmers, but also train tomorrow's scientists, nutritionists, teachers, and so much more. A combination of classroom instruction and applied agriculture experiences outside of the classroom build the foundation for educated consumers and agriculturists. The lessons have been structured to fit a five-day schedule for each agricultural category (Ag Systems, Foundation, Leadership, and Natural Resources). Therefore, each elementary class will meet once weekly with the Ag teacher. Lessons throughout the program will include a Reading/Vocabulary Activity, a Hands-On Activity, a Science Activity, and a Math Activity.
