We love our Ms. A!

Continuing our 2026-27 school-level Teacher/Support Professional of the Year spotlights this morning with a look at Anahi Aguilar, Kindergarten Paraprofessional and Support Professional of the Year at Fowler Drive Elementary School!

Ms. Aguilar has been a dedicated member of CCSD for 10 years, and this is her fifth year at Fowler Drive. Most of her experience has been working with kindergarten students, and she says she truly enjoys being part of their first experiences in school.

“I am passionate about creating a warm and supportive environment where every child feels loved, valued, and excited to learn,” says Ms. Aguilar. “My favorite part of working with kindergarten students is watching them grow in confidence, become more independent, and celebrate their accomplishments. I especially enjoy encouraging their efforts and reminding them that they are capable of great things.”

Outside of school, Ms. Aguilar enjoys running and spending time with her family. She is happily married and the proud mother of two sons.

“I am very grateful for the people who have believed in me and supported me throughout my journey,” she says. “I believe that faith, perseverance, and hard work can help us achieve our dreams.”

Please join us in congratulating Anahi Aguilar, Support Professional of the Year! And check back later today at noon for a look at the Fowler Drive Teacher of the Year!
