SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM Athens City Schools is pleased to offer the 2026 Summer Meal Program for children 18 years old and younger in Athens and Limestone County. Meals will be served Monday through Thursday through June 18 at Athens Elementary School.

Returning Student Registration (Re-Enrollment) for the 2026-2027 school year is going on now for rising 1st - 12th grade students currently enrolled in AES, BES, CES, JNES, AIS, AMS, and AHS. Please check your primary email for a snapcode from PowerSchool Registration Support and follow the instructions provided. Families will receive a separate snapcode email for each currently enrolled student. Please note, you must upload the following documents during the re-enrollment process: proof of residence and parent/guardian driver’s license or ID. Updated immunization required for rising 6th-grade students. If you did not receive your snapcode, please contact 256.233.6600. If you need access to a device to complete re-enrollment, please stop by ACS Central Office on Monday - Thursday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

ACS CELEBRATES AMERICA 250 Athens City Schools is proud to join communities across Alabama in celebrating America 250, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. This historic milestone gives our students a meaningful opportunity to honor our nation’s past, reflect on the values that unite us, and look toward the future as engaged citizens, leaders, and lifelong learners.

WEAR 🔴⚪🔵 We invite our family to help us showcase our patriotic spirit on THURSDAY, JUNE 11! Share your photos, videos, artwork, messages, and other patriotic creations by scanning the QR code or tagging us on Facebook and Instagram. We’d love to see your celebration themes, including freedom, gratitude, service, school spirit, community pride, honoring those who serve, and more.

📚✨ Great news, BES families!
Thanks to several generous donations, the majority of our classroom school supplies have been provided for our students this year. We are incredibly grateful for the support from our community!
To help cover a few remaining essentials that were not donated, including headphones and other classroom necessities, parents will only be asked to pay a one-time 25.00 school supply fee. More info to follow.
